Product Overview : With the increasing demand for high-performance pavement materials in highway and airport construction, Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) has become the standard. The Feiteng GLS Series Modified Bitumen Production Unit is engineered to meet this challenge. Based on our 15 years of experience in bitumen heating and rubber asphalt equipment, the GLS Series is a state-of-the-art system designed for the on-site production of SBS, SBR, and EVA modified asphalt.

Unlike traditional standalone milling units, the GLS-15 model features a unique “Production + Storage” integrated design. It combines a high-shear colloid mill system with a 35m³ Finished Product Storage Tank on a single skid. This all-in-one solution not only ensures the microscopic dispersion of polymers but also solves the critical problem of PMB segregation during storage.

Working Principle & Structure : The GLS Series adopts a continuous batch production process ensuring stable quality:

• Dual-Tank Preparation System: Equipped with two 5m³ vertical mixing tanks that operate alternately. While one tank blends the base bitumen with polymers (SBS/SBR), the other feeds the mill, ensuring zero downtime.

• High-Shear Grinding System: The core of the unit is a powerful 45KW Colloid Mill. It utilizes high-speed shearing to physically and chemically bond the polymer modifiers with the bitumen.

• Anti-Segregation Storage System: The processed PMB flows directly into the integrated 35m³ horizontal storage tank. Equipped with a 5.5KW agitator and thermal oil heating coils, it keeps the binder uniform and at optimal temperature (160°C-180°C) for immediate use.
