With the rise of premium road construction and the extensive use of imported barreled bitumen, the need for a fast, clean, and non-aging asphalt decanting system has never been greater. Feiteng’s DLT Series Bitumen Decanter answers that need with precision-engineered thermal oil heating technology.

System Structure & Working Principle:

Upper Chamber – Decanting Zone: Asphalt drums are lifted via an electric hoist, inverted, and dropped into the drum tray. A hydraulic pusher inserts the drum into the upper chamber, where thermal oil coils rapidly heat the drum by radiation.
Lower Chamber – Melting Pool: Bitumen flows into the lower chamber, where it is continuously heated until fully liquefied and reaches pumping temperature (approx. 110°C), then pumped to a storage tank via a jacketed pipe system with built-in filters for slag removal.

The entire operation is automated via an integrated electrical control cabinet equipped with thermal monitors, safety alarms, and control instruments, ensuring safe and stable operation.
