Description
Feiteng’s YDL Series Diesel Burner Double-Heating Bitumen Tank is meticulously designed to meet modern energy-saving and environmental standards. By integrating a diesel combustion system with a thermal oil heat transfer system into a compact unit, this tank simplifies installation, reduces operating costs, and maximizes heating efficiency.
The tank features high-quality Italian Riello or Baltur diesel burners, ensuring complete combustion, high thermal efficiency, and minimal emissions. Automatic temperature control maintains precise heating of both bitumen and thermal oil without the need for manual intervention.
Its unique dual heating mechanism—direct heating from the diesel burner and indirect heating via a thermal oil coil system—ensures rapid and uniform heating while also utilizing exhaust gases to maximize thermal efficiency. Compared to traditional systems, this innovative setup helps prevent bitumen aging and significantly reduces energy consumption.
Designed with durability and mobility in mind, the tank is constructed with thick rock wool insulation and a robust steel structure. Its fully insulated body ensures minimal heat loss even during extended operation.
Ideal for supporting asphalt mixing plants, emulsified bitumen production lines, rubberized bitumen production, and various industrial bitumen heating applications.

Working Principle & Structural Design
The YDL series bitumen tank features a horizontal cylindrical structure with an integrated base.
Inside the tank, a combustion chamber surrounded by a thermal oil jacket simultaneously heats both the thermal oil and the bitumen.
The diesel burner ignites inside the combustion chamber.
Heat is transferred to the surrounding thermal oil, which circulates through internal coils to indirectly heat the bitumen.
High-temperature exhaust gases pass through multiple flue channels, delivering direct radiant heat to the bitumen.
This dual heating approach ensures fast and uniform heating while efficiently utilizing residual heat.
Unlike traditional direct-fired bitumen tanks, this system prevents bitumen aging and coking, significantly extending equipment life and reducing maintenance needs.
Additional features include:
-
Thermal Oil Expansion Tank: Accommodates oil volume changes during the heating process.
-
High-Capacity Bitumen Pump: Ensures efficient loading and unloading.
-
Automated Level & Temperature Monitoring: For both bitumen and thermal oil systems.
This advanced structure offers high heating speed, low energy loss, stable performance, and unmatched safety—making it an ideal solution for professional bitumen storage and heating applications.
